Service Delivery Manager

The Opportunity

Capgemini is seeking a Director/Sr Director level executive leads/frontline leaders in the Run PGA role to manage production systems and keep the application up and running always. Run PGA is an application expert, who should be able to take appropriate decisions during crisis

The candidate should have a strong mindset; the firm seeks not only a strong leader who can articulate a vision, but one who can also drive execution of that vision in a very concrete manner that results in tangible business outcomes (bookings, contribution margin, revenue, market recognition).

The role demands a high level of autonomy; a strong appetite to drive change and overcome organizational complexity; and a high level of drive to build a business from its current strong foundations to a potential billion-scale business.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Nurtures working relationships with clients throughout the project cycle , clients processes and provides prompt assistance when needed
  • Manages client expectations and ensures delivery of client requests
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendor
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Ideal Candidate

He/She/They will have 16+ Years of experience with a strong project track and with background in delivery management , transformation / industrialization / innovation

This person is motivated to deliver high-quality work to drive customer satisfaction. They use their intellect, insight, and ability to build creative solutions with clients and colleagues while embracing a collaborative mindset. Key qualifications include:

 

  • Able to drive application development team of ~ 100+ employees and manage revenue of ~8-10 Mn USD
  • Reviews project's Timeline, Quality and Cost
  • Manages project financials
  • Manages projects using KPIs / Reporting
  • Takes Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Recovers troubled engagements (client escalations, delivery quality issues)
  • Periodic travel to onshore or other location in India to meet customers and team members

 

Mandatory skills

  • EM2 certified
  • Experience on complex engagements involving a large portfolio of applications across technologies and complex architecture across multiple locations (distributed delivery)
  • Strong technical background
  • Good knowledge and experience UPM and USM or similar delivery processes and methods
  • Proven Delivery Management skills (Cost, Schedule, Effort and Quality) / Experience of managing large fixed bid and Agile engagements
  • Experience in supporting sales, developing solution, estimation and creating proposals
  • Very good at logical / lateral / design thinking, generating ideas, helping troubled projects/teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills / Good stakeholder management
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
