Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer

Your Role

We are hiring a Senior FinOps Cloud Engineer with experience range 6 to 9 years for Bangalore location. The ideal candidate should be a FinOps or GreenOps professional with hands‑on experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP, specializing in cost optimization, sustainability, and cloud operations. Skilled in DevOps, IaC, observability, and using tools like Apptio, CloudCheckr, and native cloud cost management suites.

Analysing Cloud spend & usage data to identify areas of focus, creating strategies to support the adoption of FinOps/GreenOps within the customer’s organisation.

Setup Measures for reactive and proactive Infra and KPI monitoring

Create, update any automation scripts allowing to collect extract raw data from cloud hyperscaler.

Create or update custom dashboard in the FinOps or GreenOps reporting tools e.g CloudCheckr , Apptio , AWS Quick Sight etc.

Assist architect board to prepare Optimization opportunities with explanations and saving calculations.

Work with customer to defining Cloud, Dashboard, tooling & finance strategy & approach.

Define, manage & plan delivery​ of FinOps framework.

Collect of client inputs and report the outputs including FinOps maturity assessment, FinOps/GreenOPs best practices recommendations & update any best practices into the governance documents.

Providing all FinOps or GreenOps governance, adoption and change management guidelines adapted to the client context​.

Work with stakeholders from Engineering, Cloud, finance, procurement function & collaborate toward setting up FinOps or GreenOps governance across engagement.

Organise, Manage & attend delivery meetings​ with project stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Experience on FinOps/GreenOps initiatives with adequate Knowledge across Hyperscalers (Azure/GCP/Azure) including IaaS, PaaS and Microservices.
• Hand-on Knowledge of Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of DevOps Practices and IaC
• Knowledge of Reporting & Analysis tools like PowerBI, Tableau, PowerPoint etc.
• Strong Knowledge of Observability across Hyperscalers (Azure/GCP/Azure)
• Handson experience of FinOps / GreenOps Tools like Aptio, CloudChekr, Native Carbon Calculator, Native Advisor, Cost & Billing Management
• Experience in ITIL / Agile process
