As a SAP Cloud ALM + Solman Consultant, you will :

  •  Act as the SME for SAP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions across cloud and on-premise SAP landscapes.
  • Lead SAP Cloud ALM implementation, configuration, and adoption initiatives.
  • Manage and support SAP Solution Manager 7.2 functionalities including ChaRM, ITSM, Monitoring, and Test Management.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis, Functional, Development, and Business teams to ensure system stability and operational excellence.
  • Drive ALM transformation initiatives, including migration from Solution Manager to Cloud ALM.
  • Define governance, monitoring, incident management, and change management best practices.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for SAP Operations, Monitoring, and Continuous Improvement.

Your Role - Job Role

  • Implement and configure SAP Cloud ALM services.
  • Set up:
    • Health Monitoring
    • Integration & Exception Monitoring
    • Job & Automation Monitoring
    • Business Process Monitoring
    • User & Performance Monitoring
  • Enable Cloud ALM for SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and other SAP Cloud solutions.
  • Configure alerting, dashboards, analytics, and reporting.
  • Support Requirements Management, Test Management, and Deployment Management.
  • Drive Cloud ALM adoption and process optimization.

SAP Solution Manager (SolMan 7.2)

  • Configure and support:
    • ChaRM (Change Request Management)
    • IT Service Management (ITSM)
    • Solution Documentation
    • Test Suite
    • Technical Monitoring
    • Business Process Monitoring
    • Root Cause Analysis
    • Focused Insights
  • Perform Managed System Configuration and System Monitoring setup.
  • Support SolMan upgrades, maintenance, and integrations.
  • Enable end-to-end monitoring and reporting for SAP landscapes.

Support & Operations

  • Monitor SAP systems and resolve application issues proactively.
  • Support incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with SAP Basis and Infrastructure teams for troubleshooting.
  • Conduct user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions

Your Profile - Skills Required :

Mandatory Skills

  • 6-12 years of SAP experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Extensive experience in SAP Solution Manager 7.2.
  • Expertise in:
    • ChaRM
    • ITSM
    • Solution Documentation
    • Test Management
    • Technical Monitoring
    • Business Process Monitoring
    • Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Knowledge of SAP Basis concepts and SAP architecture.
  • Understanding of integration between SAP Cloud ALM and SAP solutions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP Focused Run.
  • Experience in RISE with SAP projects.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP services and integrations.
  • Knowledge of SAP Signavio Process Manager.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
  • SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Solution Manager certifications preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants and supporting delivery teams.
