SAP ABAP RAP Lead

Your Role

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of SAP applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), CDS Views, and SAP S/4HANA/BTP technologies.
  • Architect scalable, cloud-ready solutions and integrations using OData services, REST APIs, SAP BTP services, and external systems.
  • Manage and mentor a team of ABAP developers, conduct code reviews, and drive adherence to RAP, clean core, performance, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and solution architects to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Own end-to-end project delivery including solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-go-live support.

Your Profile

  • 9+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including hands-on experience with RAP, modern ABAP frameworks, and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, VDM concepts, SQLScript, HANA optimization, and API/OData development.
  • Proven experience leading development teams, driving technical excellence, managing delivery timelines, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Good understanding of SAP ecosystem components including S/4HANA modules, IDocs, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, ALV, SmartForms, and integration technologies.
  • SAP certification in ABAP, S/4HANA, RAP, or related SAP development technologies is preferred.
