Quality Engineer

Location: Bangalore
Experience: 4–6 years

Your Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for managing document control and change management processes across departments. You’ll support quality systems, resolve issues in SmartSolve and SAP, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a functional expert for the Change Management process.
  • Manage CAPA, NC, and investigations along with change control activities.
  • Resolve issues in SmartSolve related to Change and Documentation modules.
  • Liaise with the Master Data Team to resolve SAP issues for ECO notifications.
  • Maintain procedures for Document Control and Change Control.
  • Review approvals and implement updates to support business units.
  • Handle hard copy requests and maintain distribution lists in SmartSolve.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Systems Manager to improve Change Management processes.
  • Issue equipment numbers and maintain relevant systems.
  • Archive and manage document files and control board activities.
  • Report weekly and monthly site metrics on process performance.
  • Provide support across Quality Systems as needed.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office, CAD tools, and ERP systems (SmartSolve and SAP preferred).
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Formal quality training and experience in regulated environments is a plus.
