PLM Asset Development Leader

Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished and dynamic COE Solution Lead specializing in PLM and digital continuity/digital twin solutions to join our solutioning team. This pivotal role is intended for a professional who brings more than 12 years of experience in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain, showcasing an impressive history of leading multiple successful end-to-end PLM implementations. Suitable candidates should have expertise on platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter PLM. The individual will spearhead all PLM assets and solutioning initiatives addressing projects/programs and client RFIs and RFPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to drive development of PLM assets / solution frameworks as per industry best practices
  • Own and drive all assets development, enhancements and utilization of these assets in the project execution & delivery
  • Capture best solutions and best-practices done is each Teamcenter project, standardise and industrialise the common solutions and frameworks and broadcast to global PLM team
  • Knowledge sharing session to global teams’ solution architects and tech leads on the Siemens roadmap and up coming solution improvements in future versions
  • Leverage expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PLM, digital twin/digital continuity technologies to provide transformative strategic guidance and best practices tailored to client expectations/requirements.
  • Perform comprehensive assessment on client requirements, subsequently recommend tailored PLM solutions that align with their business functions.
  • Support and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other client inquiries, crafting detailed, customized proposals that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate effectively with pre-sales & sales teams to formulate and implement robust solution strategies that enhance outreach, drive revenue, and increase market share.
  • Support the creation of comprehensive project plans, coordinate resource allocation, and devise effective risk management strategies to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum15 years of experience within the PLM domain, demonstrating considerable expertise in related technologies and NPD/NPI processes.
  • A solid track record with at least one complete greenfield PLM implementation experience using Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
  • Good to have PLM cloud migration and SaaS based PLM solutions implementation and system administration/maintenance.
  • Good to have experience on ALM platforms like PTC code beamer, siemens polarion or other ALM platforms, and integration between PLM and ALM.
  • PLM data migration experience and consolidation, combining data from multiple legacy systems into a single source of truth.
  • Robust comprehension of digital continuity concepts and their practical applications in various PLM environments, supporting impactful system integrations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members alike.
  • Extensive exposure to pre-sales functions, including solution design, proposal crafting, and persuasive client presentations.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic and analytical mindset that promotes robust decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in both collaborative team settings and independent initiatives.
  • PLM consulting experience will be an added advantage like product evaluation, architecture assessment and recommendations and capability roadmap definition
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering as educational qualification
