Oracle Tuxedo Administrator

Your Role

• Manage and support Oracle Tuxedo middleware environments on IBM AIX to ensure high availability and performance.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning of Tuxedo platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including log analysis, RCA, and handling P1/P2 incidents under strict SLAs.
• Collaborate with DBA, application, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain seamless integration with Oracle Database 19c.
• Participate in 24×7 on‑call rotation, support critical events (including AU hours), and maintain accurate documentation and SOPs.

Your Profile

• 9+ years of deep expertise in Oracle Tuxedo administration with strong hands‑on experience in designing, managing, and optimizing middleware platforms on IBM AIX.
• Proven ability to tune performance, configure domains, manage queues, and troubleshoot complex issues in mission‑critical Tuxedo environments.
• Strong understanding of Tuxedo architecture, load balancing, failover, and high‑availability mechanisms, ensuring stable enterprise operations.
• Skilled in AIX administration and shell scripting, with solid experience integrating Tuxedo applications with Oracle Database 19c.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator, with consistent participation in P1/P2 on‑call support, plus strong documentation discipline (SOPs, runbooks, knowledge bases).
