OSS & AIOps Engineer

Role Summary

The OSS & AIOps Engineer will build OSS intelligence and AIOps capabilities to support autonomous network operations. The role focuses on inventory intelligence, alarm correlation, fault management, KPI modelling, data aggregation, event processing, service assurance, and AI-assisted operational workflows across mobile, fixed, transport, cloud, and service domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement OSS intelligence solutions for autonomous network operations.
  • Build inventory and topology models using configuration, resource, service, and dependency data.
  • Develop alarm correlation, event enrichment, deduplication, suppression, root-cause analysis, and service impact workflows.
  • Define and implement KPI aggregation and performance models across RAN, Core, Transport, IP/MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud, and OSS domains.
  • Support AIOps use cases including anomaly detection, incident prediction, event correlation, prioritization, and service impact analysis.
  • Build data pipelines integrating EMS/NMS, inventory systems, assurance tools, telemetry platforms, ticketing systems, and log platforms.
  • Integrate OSS platforms with AI/ML, orchestration, automation, and event-driven systems.
  • Implement TM Forum Open API integrations for inventory, alarm, performance, service assurance, and trouble ticket management.
  • Support closed-loop automation through operational state, topology context, fault insights, and KPI intelligence.
  • Enable AI/LLM, RAG, knowledge graph, and agentic AI use cases using OSS data.
  • Establish data quality, reconciliation, governance, and service dependency models.
  • Support graph-based topology modelling and digital twin initiatives.

Required Experience

  • 7+ years in OSS engineering, network assurance, telecom operations, service assurance, or AIOps.
  • Strong experience in fault management, alarm correlation, performance management, inventory, and service assurance.
  • Experience with multi-vendor OSS/NMS environments.
  • Knowledge of telecom domains including RAN, Core, Transport, IP/MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud, and Fixed Networks.
  • Experience with AIOps, event correlation, anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and incident prediction.
  • Understanding of TM Forum Open APIs, telecom data models, inventory, topology, and service dependencies.
  • Experience building data pipelines, integrations, and event-driven architectures.
