Job Description

Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical & Physical Engineer to join our team as a Tech Expert in Configuration Management. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in project managementproduct lifecycle management, and configuration control for complex engineering systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage configuration management (CM) activities across mechanical and physical engineering projects.
  • Define and implement CM strategies, including version control, change tracking, and baseline management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistencytraceability, and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Support project planningrisk assessment, and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to manage engineering changes and product configurations.
  • Provide technical expertise in mechanical systems, materials, and integration processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringIndustrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in mechanical designconfiguration management, or project engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill), CAD tools, and engineering change processes.
  • Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) or CMII is a plus.
  • Familiarity with aerospaceautomotive, or defense industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
