Job Description
Highly skilled Stress & Design Engineer with expertise in ISAMI, CATIA, and in-service repair for wing perimeter structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided engineering (CAE), CAD modeling, and physics-based simulations, with hands-on experience in structural analysis and repair design for aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform stress analysis and repair design for wing perimeter structures using ISAMI and CAESAM Desktop tools.
- Develop and validate CAD models using CATIA V5, ensuring accuracy and compliance with aerospace standards.
- Conduct physics-based simulations to assess structural integrity and performance under operational loads.
- Support in-service repair activities by evaluating damage, proposing repair solutions, and preparing engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and maintenance engineering.
- Ensure all designs and analyses meet regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of design iterations, analysis results, and repair procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in aerospace structural design and stress analysis.
- Proficiency in:
- ISAMI and CAESAM Desktop
- CATIA V5
- CAD modeling and computer-aided engineering
- Physics simulations and structural analysis
- Experience in in-service repair and aircraft maintenance engineering.
- Strong understanding of aerospace materials, load cases, and fatigue analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Airbus programs (e.g., A320, A350).
- Familiarity with airworthiness regulations and repair certification processes.
- Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) tools and methods.
