Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Structural Simulation Engineer with expertise in CADCAE tools (CAESAM Desktop for ISAMI), and physics-based simulations. The ideal candidate will contribute to engineering designin-service repair analysis, and stress assessment for wing perimeter structures in aerospace applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural simulations and stress analysis using CAE tools such as CAESAM Desktop for ISAMI.
  • Support in-service repair evaluations for wing perimeter structures, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards.
  • Develop and validate physics-based computer simulations for structural integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with design teams to integrate simulation results into engineering design workflows.
  • Create and maintain detailed CAD models and engineering documentation.
  • Conduct damage tolerance and fatigue analysis for repair scenarios.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace EngineeringMechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis and simulation.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX) and CAE platforms (especially CAESAMISAMI).
  • Strong understanding of aerospace materialsload paths, and repair methodologies.
  • Experience with computer-aided engineering (CAE) and physics-based simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with aircraft certification standards and in-service support.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools like ANSYSNASTRAN, or HyperMesh.
  • Knowledge of aircraft structural repair manuals (SRMs).
  • Exposure to digital twin or model-based systems engineering (MBSE) is a plus.
