Mechanical & Physical Engineer | 2 to 4 years | Bengaluru

Job Description

Looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development, modification, and lifecycle management of mechanical components and systems. The role involves working on design activities, managing concessions, handling Change Control Documents (CCD), and using ZAMI for configuration and documentation control.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify mechanical designs in compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
  • Analyze and process concessions for non-conformities or deviations from standard designs.
  • Prepare and manage CCD (Change Control Documents) to ensure traceability and compliance with engineering change processes.
  • Use ZAMI for configuration management, documentation tracking, and workflow approvals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
  • Ensure all design changes are validated, documented, and implemented effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks).
  • Experience with concession handlingCCD workflows, and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and tools like ZAMI (or similar).

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
  • Understanding of industry standardscompliance protocols, and configuration control.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
