Job Description
Looking for a skilled CAD Design Engineer to support the JSO A350 Execution Design Requirements using CATIA V5. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided engineering (CAE), engineering design, and aerospace CAD modeling, with hands-on experience in CATIA and a solid understanding of aircraft structural and systems design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and implement JSO A350 execution design requirements in line with Airbus standards.
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 for aircraft components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stress, manufacturing, and systems engineering to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Apply engineering design principles and CAE tools to develop high-quality, production-ready models.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and documentation protocols.
- Support design reviews and provide technical input throughout the product development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field.
- 3+ years of experience in CAD design within the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting, and Generative Shape Design).
- Strong understanding of engineering design, aerostructures, and aircraft systems.
- Familiarity with computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools and practices.
- Experience working with Airbus design standards is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with A350 program or similar aircraft platforms.
- Knowledge of PLM systems (e.g., ENOVIA, Teamcenter).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM).
