Your Role
As an MBSE Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting system design and development through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop system models, manage requirements traceability, and enable early validation of complex systems using industry-standard modeling tools and practices.
In this role, you will:
· Develop and maintain system models using MBSE methodologies such as SysML/UML.
· Capture, analyze, and manage system requirements while ensuring end-to-end traceability.
· Create system architecture models, including functional, logical, and physical architectures.
· Perform model validation, verification, and simulation to support system development activities.
· Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure integrated system design.
· Support requirements decomposition, interface definition, and system integration activities.
· Maintain alignment and consistency between system models, requirements, and technical documentation.
· Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and engineering decision-making processes.
· Contribute to the adoption of MBSE best practices and continuous process improvement initiatives.
· Support digital engineering initiatives and help drive model-centric development approaches.
Your Profile
· 2–4 years of experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Systems Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
· Strong understanding of MBSE principles and systems engineering lifecycle methodologies (V-Model).
· Hands-on experience with SysML/UML modeling techniques.
· Proficiency with one or more MBSE tools such as:
- Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw
- IBM Rhapsody
- Enterprise Architect (Sparx)
· Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or similar platforms.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system-thinking capabilities.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
· Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
· Domain experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, or Industrial Systems.
· Familiarity with industry standards such as INCOSE, ISO 26262, ARP4754, and DO-178C.
· Experience with simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
· Exposure to Digital Engineering and Digital Twin concepts.
· Knowledge of scripting and automation, preferably using Python.
· Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and improving engineering processes.
