Lead Software Engineer

Your Role

  • Hands on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or Sterling File Gateway.
  • Proficient in EDI standards: ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, flat files.
  • Solid understanding of communication protocols: AS2, SFTP/FTP, FTPS, VAN, HTTP/S.
  • Strong mapping skills using tools like Sterling Map Editor (e.g., creating 850, 810, 856, 997, 940 documents).
  • Experience integrating EDI systems with ERPs (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
  • Familiarity with databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), scripting (Perl, Shell); troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Your Profile

      Help configure file transfer protocols (e.g., SFTP, FTP/S, HTTPS,MQ, AS2 etc)
  •  Participate in partner onboarding activities, including setting up trading partner profiles and certificates
  •  Monitor and log file transfer activity and respond to file delivery issues under guidance
  •  Maintain technical documentation and assist with compliance audits
  •  Work closely with senior developers and integration analysts to meet project goals
  •  Understanding of file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTP/S, HTTPS, AS2, etc.
  •  Exposure to IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Control Center, or Connect:Direct
  •  Familiarity with file encryption/decryption concepts
  •  Good troubleshooting and communication skills
  •  Willingness to learn and take on new technical challenges
