Your profile

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Kafka-based solutions for real-time event streaming.
  • Design and optimize Kafka producer/consumer applications.
  • Create and manage Kafka topics, partitions, and configurations.
  • Integrate Kafka with other systems using Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other ecosystem tools.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters for performance and reliability.
  • Implement message schemas using Avro, Protobuf, or JSON.
  • Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments.
  • Ensure data security and compliance through access controls and encryption.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Application teams.
  • Document Kafka configurations, processes, and best practices.

 

Your role

  • Strong understanding of Apache Kafka architecture and components.
  • Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Experience with distributed systems and real-time data processing.
  • Familiarity with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed Kafka services.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Confluent Control Center.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
