Your profile
- Develop, deploy, and maintain Kafka-based solutions for real-time event streaming.
- Design and optimize Kafka producer/consumer applications.
- Create and manage Kafka topics, partitions, and configurations.
- Integrate Kafka with other systems using Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other ecosystem tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters for performance and reliability.
- Implement message schemas using Avro, Protobuf, or JSON.
- Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments.
- Ensure data security and compliance through access controls and encryption.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Application teams.
- Document Kafka configurations, processes, and best practices.
Your role
- Strong understanding of Apache Kafka architecture and components.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
- Experience with distributed systems and real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed Kafka services.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Confluent Control Center.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
