Job Description
EMEA and APAC
The role requires team member to process and review applications, support applicants with their queries, monitor progress of applications and provide visibility to the manager as needed for day-to-day operations. The role will also require the team member to coach and guide junior resources.
Key responsibilities:
- Understand the Immigration and Mobility process and compliance requirements for the assigned region(s).
- Understand the tools and technology to be used in processing requests and maintenance/storage of data.
- Process requests for fresh work permits, and extensions, as well as local hires (where applicable) for assigned region(s) within the defined SLA with qualitative approach.
- Understand the calculations & validations of minimum salary wage where applicable.
- Collaborate with various parties involved in the process (for example, local HR for local hires, service providers, compensation team, Global team, etc.) for smooth and timely completion of request.
- Ensure maintenance of all WP fresh, extension approval and RP card copies for all the assignees.
- De-registration of RP / work permit with Immigration authorities as and when needed.
- Ensure compliance to avoid overstay / illegal stay by the assignees in host country.
- Maintaining the minimum salary wage report for all the assignees vs actual paid.
- Understand changes in rule and regulations as they happen and update the SOP document accordingly.
- Train junior resources on process, tools, and technology
- Review the output by junior members (as applicable) and ensure quality.
- Provide input on performance of junior members to the manager.
- Lead/co-lead a country or region if needed to support the manager.
Professional experience :
1. 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Global Mobility.
2. Should have good communications skills (verbal and written) to be able to guide applicants with the process, as well as manage stakeholders.
Personal qualification:
1. Qualification - Graduate (minimum) with any additional certificate or degree in HR and/or Global Mobility
2. Willingness to learn
