Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Cockpit Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 10+ years of relevant experience in automotive cockpit technologies, including Digital Instrument Clusters, Infotainment Systems (IVI), Android Automotive OS (AAOS), Connectivity, HMI, and Integrated Cockpit Platforms.
The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, solution consulting, and engineering expertise for next-generation connected, intelligent, and software-defined vehicle (SDV) programs.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Engineering
- Design and define end-to-end digital cockpit solutions encompassing:
- Digital Instrument Clusters
- Infotainment Systems (IVI)
- Integrated Digital Cockpit Platforms
- Voice and AI-based Assistants
- Lead architecture reviews and technology/platform selection activities.
- Drive integration of middleware, operating systems, application frameworks, and connected services.
- Collaborate with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cockpit solutions.
- Support roadmap planning for future cockpit innovations and software-defined vehicle initiatives.
Program Support & Governance
- Mentor engineering teams on cockpit technologies, architecture best practices, and development methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance for issue resolution, risk mitigation, and escalation management.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality, safety, and software development standards.
- Conduct architecture assessments, design reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Support customer discussions, technical proposals, and solution consulting engagements.
