Job Title: IT/OT Solution Architect

Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

The IT/OT Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust architectures that integrate Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems within our manufacturing environment. This role ensures seamless connectivity between enterprise systems and shop-floor technologies, driving efficiency, security, and scalability across operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Design & Architecture

• Define and implement IT/OT architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
• Design system structures, components, modules, interfaces, and data flows for optimal performance.
• Ensure architectures are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

2. Technology Evaluation

• Assess emerging technologies and recommend tools for IT/OT integration.
• Stay updated on technological trends, standards, and innovations relevant to manufacturing.

3. Integration

• Enable seamless integration of IT systems with OT systems such as SCADA, PLCs, MES, and ERP platforms.
• Optimize data exchange and interoperability between enterprise and shop-floor systems.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years in IT/OT architecture, preferably in manufacturing.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of IT and OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, MES, ERP, Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure).
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to industrial automation.
• Core Competencies:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication for stakeholder engagement.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT/OT projects.
• Security Awareness:
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles for industrial systems.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Architect, or certifications in IT/OT technologies.
• Industry Knowledge:
• Familiarity with metal manufacturing processes and IT/OT requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Industrial IoT, Edge Computing, and Data Analytics.
• Knowledge of ISA-95 and other industrial standards.
