IBP Supply Planning Consultant

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and a strong understanding of supply chain processes.

• Be part of a team that solves problems and provide solutions for large, corporate clients in multiple sectors, working in cross-discipline, agile and distributed teams, across multiple areas of Supply Chain Management, depending on project scope and at various stages of the project lifecycle
• Solid understanding of supply chain interfaces (CIDS, RTI or SDI) and their capabilities – aligning SAP solutions with customer requirements 
• Design, configure, and deploy SAP IBP Supply Planning (Time Series) functionalities including: Supply Optimization, Deployment Planning, Inventory Planning, Demand Supply balancing, Master Data modelling for Time Series planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Demand Planning, S&OP, Production, Procurement) to ensure aligned E2E planning workflows.
• IBP Advanced Configuration (Enterprise Structure, Master Data etc)
• Time Series, RICEF / Custom Dev FSD OSD, Testing Cycles (FUT, FIT, UAT, Regression)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Design and develop IBP planning models, integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA, and data management processes.
• Integration experience of the modules that directly integrate with IBP (e.g., Production Planning, Order to Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management)
• Support IBP solution testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end supply chain improvements.

Job Description - Grade Specific

• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in at least one or more SAP IBP modules.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC/S4HANA integration with IBP.
• Awareness of various project lifecycle tools such as Atlassian JIRA, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Signavio. 
• Familiarity with CPI-DS (Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services) for data transfer.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP IBP certification is a plus.
