Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled File Transfer Platform Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing 24x7 MFT support for banking customers and managing critical platforms that handle file transfers and resolving issues on a day-to-day basis. This role requires expertise in leveraging Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools to ensure the reliability and performance of the platform. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide 24x7 support for the file transfer platform, ensuring high availability and reliability for banking customers. 
• Monitor and manage the performance of the file transfer platform using scripts, monitoring, tools, identifying and resolving issues proactively. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. 
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data during file transfers. 
• Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure the platform remains up-to-date and secure. 
• Develop and maintain documentation for platform support processes, procedures, and configurations. 
• Participate in on-call 24x7 rotations to provide after-hours support as needed. 

Your Profile

• Proven experience in managing and supporting file transfer platforms in a banking environment. 
• Experience in atleast one Managed File Transfer platform like IBM Sterling Connect:Direct, GoAnywhere MFT, Axway MFT 
• Experience in job scheduling platform Connect:Direct, GoAnywhere MFT, RevSoft 
• Email Automation in GoAnywhere or MFT Platform 
• Strong knowledge of APM tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace  
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and monitoring tasks. 
• Expertise in setting up encryption like PGP, SSH, GPG cryptographic setup. 
• Participated in Install, upgrade and configuration changes for IBM Sterling Connect:Direct and GoAnywhere MFT platform. 
• DMZ file gateway setup and Ad-hoc file transfer setup knowledge for – System to System, User to System and Users to User collaboration 
• Strong knowledge of patching and security updates on the MFT platforms across Windows, Linux, AIX
