IBM Platform Engineer

Your Role

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM MQ.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, Google Load Balancer, and services.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scripting (e.g., Shell, Python).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver).

Your Profile

  • Set up and configure cloud infrastructure on GCP to host IBM ACE v13.x environments (Dev, QA, Stage, Prod, DR).
  • Install and configure IBM MQ v9.x and ensure seamless integration with ACE v13.x.
  • Provision and manage supporting components including databases, storage, and networking for integration workloads.
  • Implement high availability (HA), failover, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies for ACE and MQ environments.
  • Integrate ACE environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for proactive platform management.
  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and patching using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps tools.
