Google Cloud Platform & Terraform Architect

Your Role

As a GCP Platform Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure that enables development teams to build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently across multiple environments.

• Design, build, and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform, covering Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Storage.
• Create and maintain multi‑environment setups (development, testing, and production) following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Develop reusable and standardized Terraform modules with remote state management using Google Cloud Storage.
• Integrate Terraform workflows with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control to support automated deployments.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance.

Your Profile

• Hands-on experience managing GCP infrastructure using Terraform, including networking, IAM, and compute services.
• Strong expertise in building and supporting multi‑environment cloud platforms (dev, test, prod).
• Proven experience creating reusable Terraform modules and managing remote state using GCS.
• Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows for automated infrastructure delivery.
• Proficiency in automation and troubleshooting using Bash/Python, with exposure to monitoring, incident handling, and cloud security best practices.
