GCP Java Springboot Microservices

Your Role

• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications using Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Build and manage cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Firestore etc.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build / Jenkins / GitHub Actions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and cost on the cloud.
• Work with container technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes / GKE.
• Integrate various GCP components for end-to-end solution delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of cloud applications.

Your Profile

• Strong programming skills in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with key GCP services Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE Cloud Functions, Cloud Pub/Sub Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Firestore / Bigtable BigQuery (added advantage)
• CI/CD tools: Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (GKE preferred)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, API Gateway / Apigee.

• Experience in Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Exposure to Apache Kafka or Pub/Sub streaming.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and SRE best practices.
