GCP Devops Kubernetes

Your Role

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deploy, scale, and administer applications on Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Automate cloud operations using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or other IaC tools.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging using Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Cloud Monitoring.
• Manage containers using Docker, container registries, and security best practices.
• Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency of cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, handle incident response, and participate in on‑call rotations (as needed).
• Work closely with development teams to support DevOps culture, automation-first mindset, and cloud best practices.
• Implement security controls including IAM, VPC, firewall rules, service accounts, and secret management.

Your Profile

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services, including: GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, VPC, Load Balancers, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS, Cloud Logging & Monitoring, Kubernetes deployments, Stateful Sets, Daemon Sets, Helm charts, Kustomize, Service mesh (Istio/Anthos)

• CI/CD tools: Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Tekton
• IaC tools: Terraform (preferred), Ansible, Helm
• Scripting: Python, Bash, Shell

• Docker image creation, optimization, vulnerability scanning
• Container registry: Artifact Registry / GCR

• VPC design, subnets, firewalls
• IAM roles, service accounts
• Secret management (Secret Manager / HashiCorp Vault)
• Zero-trust and least privilege principles
