GCP+Node js

Your Role

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Design, build, and deploy serverless/microservices solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement and optimize services using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Compute Engine.
• Integrate and manage GCP services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Firestore, and BigQuery.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs following best practices and performance guidelines.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Create scalable, secure, and fault‑tolerant cloud architectures.
• Write high‑quality, reusable, and maintainable code with proper testing (unit/integration).
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and related tools.
• Work with Docker for containerizing microservices and deploying them on GCP.
• Manage service authentication and access control using IAM, service accounts, and security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for end‑to‑end feature delivery.
• Optimize cloud cost usage and application performance.

Your Profile

• Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • GCP Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Compute Engine
  • Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Firestore
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Solid understanding of:
  • Microservices
  • REST / GraphQL
  • Docker & containerization
  • API gateways (Apigee / Cloud Endpoints is a plus)
• Bonus Skills
• Kubernetes (GKE)
• BigQuery for analytics pipelines
• Terraform or other IaC frameworks
• Message queues, event-driven architecture
