Your Role

• Design and implement scalable, resilient microservices using Java 17+/Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs/GraphQL and integrate with internal/external services.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate services on GCP (GKE/Cloud Run/Compute Engine, Cloud SQL/Spanner, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions).
• Implement event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub/Kafka), asynchronous processing, and idempotent patterns.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins/Cloud Build), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and release automation.
• Ensure observability with logging, metrics, tracing (OpenTelemetry, Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Champion clean code, unit/integration testing, contract testing, and performance optimization.
• Apply security best practices: OAuth2/OpenID Connect, service-to-service auth, secrets management (Secret Manager), IAM policies.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver features on schedule; perform code reviews and mentor team members.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, domain-driven design (DDD), and API versioning strategies

Your Profile

• Strong Java (8+/11/17) and Spring Boot expertise (Spring Web, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Hands-on with GCP services: at least 3 of GKE/Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL/Spanner/BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Build, Secret Manager, IAM.
• Proven experience building microservices at scale (resilience patterns: circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads; libraries like Resilience4j).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (Firestore/Redis).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (Helm beneficial).
• Solid CI/CD experience and IaC (Terraform preferred).
• Knowledge of testing (JUnit5, Testcontainers, WireMock, Pact) and code quality (SonarQube/Checkstyle/SpotBugs).
• Familiar with REST standards, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API Gateways (Apigee/Cloud Endpoints/NGINX).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
