Your Role
As an F&DT Engineer, you will be responsible for performing fatigue and damage tolerance analysis on aircraft structures. You’ll work with advanced simulation tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and reliability of primary and secondary aircraft components.
In this role, you will:
- Perform 1D, 2D, and 3D modeling using Hypermesh.
- Conduct linear, non-linear (primary), and thermal analysis.
- Apply hand calculations for structural validation.
- Utilize ISAMI for fatigue and damage tolerance assessments.
- Work with FEA tools such as Nastran and Abaqus for simulation.
- Prepare and review stress and certification reports.
- Collaborate with design teams to propose engineering solutions.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
- 4–6 years of experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of FEA and aircraft structural components.
- Proficient in ISAMI, Patran, Hypermesh, Nastran, Abaqus, CATIA, Excel.
- Familiarity with scripting tools like Python and tcl/tk.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
