Driver Validation

Your Role
As a Driver Validation Engineer, you will validate and ensure the reliability of device drivers across embedded and Linux‑based platforms. You will work closely with development teams to verify functionality, performance, and stability of drivers in real‑world system environments.
In this role, you will:

• Perform driver validation in RTOS / RT Linux / Linux / Unix environments.
• Validate embedded drivers across graphics, multimedia, power management, display, audio, or networking domains.
• Execute functional, stability, and regression testing of drivers.
• Debug issues and collaborate with development teams for root‑cause analysis.
• Develop and execute test scenarios for system‑level driver interactions.

Your Profile

• Strong background in embedded systems validation.
• Mandatory experience testing in RTOS or Linux/Unix environments.
• Hands‑on experience validating any one of the following:
  • Graphics drivers (DRM/KMS, OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL, Mesa)
  • Multimedia/Video drivers (VAAPI, VDPAU, GStreamer, V4L2)
  • Power management (System‑to‑RAM, S0ix3)
  • Display drivers (X, Wayland, Weston)
  • Audio subsystem and drivers (ALSA‑SoC, I2S/TDM)
  • Ethernet / Network drivers
• Strong debugging skills and a quality‑focused validation mindset.
