Digital Twin (VECU)
Your Role
As a Virtual ECU / SIL Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and enabling Virtual ECU development environments across various levels of virtualization. You will collaborate with software, systems, validation, and platform teams to develop scalable simulation ecosystems, SIL frameworks, and automated validation solutions for automotive applications.
You will play a key role in virtualization strategy, simulation architecture, test automation, technical leadership, and customer engagements while ensuring compliance with automotive standards and industry best practices.
In This Role, You Will:
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM Ceremonies
- Understanding or awareness of ASAM XiL
- Support solutioning and architecture design for Virtual ECU development programs.
- Define and implement virtualization strategies across L1 to L4 Virtual ECU environments.
- Develop, integrate, and simulate Virtual ECUs for automotive embedded software platforms.
- Design and execute Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) test plans, test cases, and validation strategies.
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand system architecture, interfaces, and integration requirements.
- Develop and integrate plant models to evaluate software functionality and system behavior in virtual environments.
- Optimize SIL environments, simulation platforms, and testing frameworks to improve development efficiency and scalability.
- Participate in architecture, design, model, and simulation reviews, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
- Define entry and exit criteria across different virtualization levels and validation phases.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality processes, industry standards, and validation best practices.
- Drive test automation initiatives and enable continuous integration and continuous validation pipelines.
- Support customer discussions, technical workshops, and solution proposals related to virtualization and simulation technologies.
- Mentor engineering teams on virtualization methodologies, simulation frameworks, and validation best practices.
