Your Role
As a Design Concession Engineer, you will play a key role in assessing, analyzing, and resolving structural non‑conformities encountered during aircraft manufacturing. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely and compliant engineering dispositions, supporting smooth production flow across Airbus programs.
Long Description
In this role, you will:
- Analyze and process airframe design concessions for primary and secondary structural components.
- Create non‑conformity assessments and evaluate NCs arising during production.
- Provide engineering dispositions based on structural integrity, design criteria, and Airbus standards.
- Design and modify machined, sheet metal, extruded, and composite parts using CATIA V5.
- Support SA & LR programs through detailed non‑conformity assessment and repair guidance.
- Apply engineering judgment for concession categories including T00, T100, and T200.
- Work in alignment with Airbus processes, standards, and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with multi‑functional teams to ensure compliance with ATA chapters, especially ATA 57 (wings), where applicable.
Your Profile
Skills Required
- Strong experience in airframe design and concession engineering.
- Proficiency in designing primary & secondary structures using CATIA V5.
- Hands‑on experience with metallic and composite structural components.
- Ability to analyze NCs and provide clear, engineering‑justified dispositions.
- Strong understanding of SA & LR aircraft structural domains.
- Knowledge of Airbus Standards, Methods, and Concession Processes.
- Familiarity with ATA57 (Wing Structures) is an added advantage.
- Experience Range: 1–8 years.
Tools & Technical Skills
- CATIA V5 (Design & 3D Modeling)
- VPM, PASS, SAP (Airbus concession systems & data management)
