Job Description

As a device integration specialist, you will play a crucial role in advancing our capabilities in managing and optimizing diverse energy assets beyond traditional grid and smart meter infrastructures. Your expertise will be pivotal in integrating and orchestrating a spectrum of devices including EV chargers, heat pumps, HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, boilers, thermostats, behind-the-meter energy storage, and utility-registered installations like PV/Wind generation equipment and large-scale storage solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize open communication standards to ensure seamless interoperability among different Distributed Energy Devices.
  • Implement robust endpoint security measures to safeguard data integrity and operational continuity.
  • Assess energy impact by device class, optimizing demand response and storage strategies.
  • Standardize device data for streamlined analytics and operational insights.
  • Synchronize large-scale device events to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Manage devices remotely, leveraging over-the-air updates and proactive maintenance protocols.
  • Implement device automation protocols and monitor device states for optimal performance.
  • Apply AI and advanced analytics to forecast energy trends, monitor device performance, detect anomalies, mitigate security risks, and optimize service and maintenance schedules.
