Content Developer|6-10 years|Bangalore

Job Description

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years prior technical writing experience, preferentially in a science or technology industry.  

Demonstrated documentation usability knowledge that can be applied at a project level.  

Structured authoring and/or information modelling, including DITA and XML.  

Ability to write technical or scientific content.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Capability to represent Waters in a professional manner.

Demonstrated experience authoring content for localization.

Experience creating content in adherence with a style guide such as the Chicago Manual of Style, Microsoft Manual of Style, ALA, AP, MLA, or ACS.

Experience with agile development processes and recurring release cycles.

Experience working with JIRA or a comparable bug tracking tool.

Experience with content management systems, including following structured authoring, content reuse, and metadata tagging guidelines.

Familiarity with content formats (HTML, XML).

Advanced skills – User interface design training or certificate of user interface skills competence

Advanced skills – Content modelling and information architecture

Advanced skills – Understanding use of metadata for retrieving information

Advanced skills- Leading a team of writers on large scale priority project.
