Job Description -

Skillset Required:

UC: CUCM, IMP, Unity, CUBE, Voice Gateways ( refer JD for more)

UC implementation with good troubleshooting skills

Detailed skillset needed is explained below:
• MOP documentation, preparation – comes with implementation skill , should be able to read from the doc and implement.
• Day1 and Day 2 support – basic troubleshooting is must and what can it bring into production. Collab prod troubleshooting example: like UC feature troubleshooting, calls are not working, codex mismatch is not working , VM is not working.. all of this requires troubleshooting at prod/feature level
• Have requirement gathering skills – Cisco front door team (CFDT) – engineer goes on call to understand effort estimation to understand the new requirement like how many hours it will take etc and provide to PM. This skill is an advantage
• Voice gateway, expressway
• All the components of UC, CER is there in few regions like in USA, unity, protocol knowledge like MGCP, SIP, 3rd party integration.
• Expressway licensing, MRA, B2B calls, Webex control hum to administer all the endpoints
• Video endpoints
• Basic call manager, unity connection and uccx. IM&P is going away but is needed.
• IP phones
Add -on : Pyhton is an add-on not mandatory, AXL, sequel…tool is used where scripts are written, and AXL is heavily used.

- Have troubleshooting experience on Collab products is also a must
