Your Role
As a Cabin Stress Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for performing static analysis and structural assessments of aircraft cabin components. You’ll work with Airbus methods and tools to ensure the integrity and compliance of cabin assemblies and contribute to certification documentation.
In this role, you will:
- Perform static analysis using Airbus methods and procedures.
- Analyze cabin assemblies such as seating areas, overhead compartments, lavatories, galleys, and safety equipment.
- Interpret layouts of cabin cargo and fuselage components.
- Understand and work with CTS, PTS, STP, STR, SCA, and QP documents.
- Interpret FEM results and execute DFEM creation, validation, and post-processing.
- Work on metallic and composite primary/secondary structures.
- Extract IFL and create SSR and STP documents.
- Apply hand calculations using HSB methods and strength of materials (e.g., Brhun).
- Develop calculation templates using Excel formulas and VBA macros.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
- 4–6 years of experience in cabin stress analysis and aircraft structural components.
- Proficient in HyperWorks (preprocessing), Patran/HyperView (postprocessing), Excel-based static calculations, and scripting with VBA/macros.
- Familiarity with VT3 for stress report management and TreND/VPM/PASS for CATIA integration (desirable).
- Strong fundamentals in structural mechanics and problem-solving.
