CFD Thermal Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Your Role

As a CFD Thermal Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting computational fluid dynamics simulations and thermal analysis for aircraft components and configurations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design improvements and ensure aerodynamic efficiency.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform CFD simulations for aircraft components and full configurations.
  • Clean and prepare geometry using CATIA V5.
  • Generate high-quality meshes using CADFIX.
  • Conduct postprocessing and data analysis using Tecplot.
  • Carry out detailed aerodynamic studies including lift, drag, and flow separation.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to support product enhancements.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
  • 4–6 years of experience in CFD and thermal analysis.
  • Proficient in CATIA V5, CADFIX, ANSA, SpaceClaim, ANSYS Fluent Meshing, Tecplot.
  • Working knowledge of CFD solvers like ANSYS Fluent and STAR-CCM+.
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics and turbulence modeling.
