Job Description

Role:  C++, OTN  ITU-T G.709 standards : Apollo Optics card development technical lead / architect

Qualification: BE/BTech in CS, ECE, EE

Experience: 8+ years of experience with Telecom / product-based companies

Skills:

  1. Hands on design, development, bring-up, debugging optical cards based on OTN, FlexO technologies.Deep understanding of the ITU-T G.709 and related standardsExperience leading teams involved in board bring-up, working with colleagues across geographies, cultures is a strong plus.
  2. Strong understanding of C++ language.
  3. Experience working in distributed, multi-threaded systemsExperience working with 3rd party devices from companies such as Microchip, Broadcom, Acacia. Integrating their SDK into the application code.
  4. Experience working with transceivers based on CMIS technology

 

Roles and responsibilities: 

As a technical lead/architect, the role will involve taking ownership of delivery of Optical Transponder, Muxponder cards for the Apollo platform. Work will involve interfacing with product line marketing, systems architecture groups to give shape to the product requirements. A significant part of the role will be leading software development team/teams to design, implement and deliver software required to produce the optical cards. Role will also involve interfacing with peers in the network management team, hardware team, quality assurance (QA) team and the customer engineering teams.
