Blue Prism Engineer

Join Capgemini and be part of a global, collaborative community that empowers you to drive impactful automation solutions. As a Blue Prism Engineer, you will contribute to designing scalable, secure, and efficient RPA workflows while supporting enterprise automation initiatives.
Your Role
As a Blue Prism Engineer, you will design, develop, deploy, and maintain automation solutions using Blue Prism. You will collaborate with BAs, process owners, and cross‑functional teams to identify automation opportunities, create robust workflows, and ensure adherence to governance and security standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and testing automation processes and reusable components.
- Translating business requirements into technical designs and documenting process flows.
- Working with APIs, web services, and databases for end‑to‑end automation.
- Managing scheduling, monitoring, and bot orchestration in Control Room.
- Handling exceptions and implementing effective error‑recovery mechanisms.
- Deploying bots into production environments and optimizing performance.
- Ensuring compliance with audit, security, and credential‑management practices.
- Supporting L2/L3 issues and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Participating in 24x7 support with shift-based responsibilities.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in Blue Prism development, solution design, and governance.
- Strong understanding of Application Modeler, Control Room, System Manager, and security best practices.
- Skilled in process analysis, exception handling, credential management, and automation standards.
- Experience with .NET, C#, or VB for custom stages (secondary skill).
- Knowledge of SQL, version control (Git), and release management.
- Exposure to Automation Anywhere and cross‑platform RPA tools.
- Experience deploying Blue Prism in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Understanding of virtualization, containerization, and RPA infrastructure scaling.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to automation strategy.
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations, OCR, and advanced automation capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
