Your Role

As an Android Full-Stack Development SME, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end Android solution development across application, framework, middleware, API, and cloud layers. You will provide technical leadership, define engineering best practices, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with automotive industry standards.

In this role, you will:

  • 12+ years of experience in leading the architecture, design, development, and integration of Android Automotive applications and platform solutions for Bangalore location.
  • Drive full-stack development across Android front-end, middleware, APIs, and cloud-native services.
  • Define technical roadmaps, coding standards, development guidelines, and engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices supporting Android applications and connected services.
  • Optimize application performance, security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Conduct code reviews, technical assessments, and mentor development teams.
  • Support Android OS upgrades and platform modernization initiatives.

  • Strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, and C++.  
  • Extensive experience in:
    • Android Application Development
    • Android Framework Development
    • Android Middleware Development
    • Android SDK
    • Android Studio
    • Jetpack Libraries  
  • Strong understanding of:
    • MVVM Architecture
    • Clean Architecture
    • Repository Pattern
  • Hands-on experience with Android UI development using:
    • Jetpack Compose
    • XML-based UI Development
    • Material Design Principles
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices. [Android
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and application lifecycle management.

Preferred Skills

  • Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Android Auto.
  • Android OS upgrade and platform migration experience
  • Connected Vehicle and Automotive Infotainment Systems experience.
  • Knowledge of Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) concepts.
  • Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 automotive suppliers.
  • Exposure to AI/ML integration, Voice Assistants, Generative AI, or Android AI/AAA solutions.
