Aircraft Maintenance Manual Author
Your Role
As an AMM Author for Airbus programs, you will be responsible for creating and updating Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) in alignment with technical specifications and aviation standards. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to analyze source data and ensure high-quality documentation delivery across various Airbus platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Collect and analyze source data including engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Create or revise AMM content in accordance with Airbus technical specifications and documentation standards.
- Work on Airframe and Systems ATA chapters across Airbus programs such as SA, LR, MB, and XWB.
- Utilize Airbus tools including GIPSY, GIDOCA, SAP, ZAMIZ, DACAS, and PDMLink for authoring and data management.
- Stay updated with industry standards such as ATA100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE100.
Your Profile
- Experience: 2–8 years in AMM authoring, preferably within Airbus programs.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Airframe and Systems ATA chapters.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Tool Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Airbus documentation tools (GIPSY, GIDOCA, SAP, ZAMIZ, DACAS, PDMLink).
- Standards Familiarity: Well-versed in ATA100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE100.
