Job Description
Your Profile
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of safety-critical aerospace mechanical systems including Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fuel, Environmental Control Systems (ECS), and Flight Control Systems.
- Analyze, design, develop, integrate, and validate aircraft mechanical systems across aerospace programs.
- Review system requirements, specifications, interface documents, and engineering deliverables.
- Perform system architecture studies, trade-off analyses, performance calculations, and root cause investigations
- Develop and review System Requirement Specifications (SRS), Interface Control Documents (ICD), test procedures, FMEA, reliability, and safety assessment documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structures, avionics, flight controls, manufacturing, and certification engineering teams.
- Support qualification, verification, validation, and certification activities.
- Mentor engineering teams and drive engineering excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Description - Grade Specific
Your Role
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Aerospace Mechanical Systems engineering.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong expertise in Hydraulic Power Generation & Distribution Systems, Pneumatic Systems, Flight Control Actuation Systems, Landing Gear Hydraulic Systems, and Braking Systems.
- Good understanding of Environmental Control System (ECS) interfaces, Fuel Systems, and utility system interactions
- Experience supporting commercial aircraft, military aircraft, business jets, helicopters, or UAV platforms.
- Knowledge of aircraft system integration, certification processes, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Hands-on experience with CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, Teamcenter, ENOVIA, Windchill, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations, ARP4754A, ARP4761, and AS9100 standards.
- Strong stakeholder management, customer-facing communication, analytical problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
