Job Description

  • Design, manage, and optimize Amazon Redshift clusters, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Configure and maintain Amazon S3 buckets, including access control, lifecycle policies, and data migration strategies.
  • Implement IAM policies to regulate access and ensure security best practices across AWS resources.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration into Redshift, optimizing query performance and data transformation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot S3 and Redshift operations, resolving performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system failures.
  • Implement disaster recovery strategies for data resilience, including data replication and backup solutions.
  • Optimize AWS cost management, analyzing usage patterns and implementing storage class optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design efficient data models and architectures within Redshift

Secondary Skills

  • Expertise in AWS Serverless, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, EC2, VPC, DWaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of S3 functionalities (bucket policies, lifecycle management, encryption, access control).
  • Proficiency in Redshift cluster management, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Secondary Skills

Experience with Python/Bash scripting for automation.

Knowledge of network concepts, data transfer protocols, and cloud security best practices.
