Your Role

We are looking for an experienced API Test Engineer to validate and ensure the reliability of APIs and integrations across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API testing tools, scripting, and working in Agile environments.

  • Design, develop, and execute API test cases for REST and SOAP services.
  • Validate request/response payloads, headers, and status codes.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing for APIs.
  • Automate API tests using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.

Your Profile

  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve defects and optimize API performance.
  • Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
  • Analyze logs and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP).
  • Hands-on expertise with Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Java/Python for automation scripting.
  • Good understanding of JSON, XML, and web services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
