Job Description
> Four-year College Degree in Technology/ Engineering/ Math).
> Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with customer facing, electrical, software or systems design experience. A minimum two (2) years of Systems Engineering experience.
Responsibilities:
o Read and understand customer cybersecurity requirements, author the artifacts that apply to the product scope, and supports reviews of the artifacts with internal team (including but not limited to Software, Hardware, Electric, and Test)
o Supports customer change requests by interfacing with Software, Hardware, and Electrical to capture the impacts calculated, and support cybersecurity lead when presenting of the Change Request to the customer
o Manage delivery of product that meets specifications
o Communication with customer and/or supplier engineers regarding design definition.
o Communication with factory engineering, and validation engineering regarding design/test issues
o Documents cybersecurity design for most appropriate implementation trade-offs
o Provides on-site engineering support for the assigned customer, collaborating in for phases including design, development, and production
> Technical Writing/Requirements Specification/Presentation
Ability to perform analysis of customer requirements, business, regulatory, compliance, and standards requirements to extract and derive system level requirements.
Familiar with standards that govern certifications and approvals for products. Familiar with ISO, EPA, FCC, ETSI, Apple, BT, SXM, MOST, RDS, etc.

Good Experience in Camera, Display domain (from Auto IVI SE / Auto IVI Development)
Architectural Impact Analysis/Feasibility Assessment
Product and Subsystem Perfomance KPI identification, estimation, and measurement
System Modeling (SySML)
Embedded Operating Systems and Frameworks (Android, Linux)
"Ability to read basic electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics Control Theory. Able to review component data sheets to derive requirements and understand capabilities. Comfortable with various SOCs and interprocessor communication and interfaces with external peripherals."
Working level knowledge as applicable to IVI for (BT/WiFi/AM/FM/SXM)
Network Fundamentals (ex. Ethernet, TCP/IP, CAN, MOST,USB)
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. 1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. 2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. 3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. 4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. 5. >Development background provided one is having development experience from relevant area of IVI domain.
>If resource is from development background, he / she should have worked on SW requirement gathering, analysis, writing
> Resource should be ready to move to SE, write system requirements - there is no development work in SE
