Location: This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA or Austin, TX, Sunnyvale, CA
About the job you’re considering
- This role leads a multi‑year, enterprise‑scale PLM transformation from strategy through execution, rollout, and long‑term stabilization, ensuring full alignment with the client’s engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT organizations.
- You will own the entire delivery lifecycle—governance, planning, scope, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder alignment—while acting as the primary point of accountability for program success.
- You will shape the PLM vision and roadmap in partnership with senior client leaders, helping them modernize product development processes through world‑class PLM capabilities.
- You will drive complex cross‑functional delivery across process, configuration, integrations, data, testing, deployment, training, and adoption efforts.
- You will bring structure, clarity, and strategic decision-making to an evolving environment with multiple parallel workstreams and high executive visibility.
- You will guide global teams, coordinate partner and vendor activities, and ensure seamless execution from design through cutover and post‑go‑live stabilization.
Your Role
- Lead and deliver the PLM transformation program to contractual commitments, overseeing scope, schedule, financials, dependencies, and overall engagement health.
- Run program governance—including steering committees, cadence reviews, executive reporting, and formal change control—to ensure transparent, predictable delivery.
- Manage and guide cross‑functional workstreams across process design, solution configuration, systems integrations, data migration, testing, training, deployment, and adoption.
- Serve as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor for client executives, driving alignment across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and IT stakeholders.
- Oversee Teamcenter solution delivery, ensuring architecture, integrations, change management, access management, and product data structures align with enterprise digital objectives.
- Direct end‑to‑end data migration strategy, including data profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.
- Ensure compliance, security, quality standards, and delivery methodologies are consistently applied throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Your skills and experience
- 10+ years of experience delivering PLM programs, with at least 5+ years in engagement, program, or delivery management leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience delivering PLM transformations, including architecture, configuration, integrations, data migration, and enterprise-wide rollout.
- Strong knowledge of PLM processes such as product data management, change control, access management, classifications, release workflows, and cross‑functional collaboration workflows.
- Proven ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams, manage complex stakeholder landscapes, and facilitate decision-making in fast‑moving environments.
- Deep understanding of enterprise delivery methodologies including waterfall, hybrid, and agile frameworks, along with strong financial management and forecasting capabilities.
- Background in Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Medical Devices, or Manufacturing is preferred, with familiarity around regulatory, compliance, and secure data requirements.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar certifications are preferred and will be considered a strong plus.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: ($93,800 - $224,910)
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
