Your Role
As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing release activities for the AVEVA platform across multiple manufacturing sites and asset classes. You will ensure smooth deployment of new capabilities, alignment with BAU processes, and effective adoption by end users. Acting as the central point of control, you will manage release readiness, environment coordination, and cross-team communication throughout the Digital Maintenance program.
You will play a key role in:
- Planning and managing all release cycles for the AVEVA platform, including scheduling, scope definition, dependencies, and deployment windows.
- Coordinating with BAU, release, and scaling teams to ensure readiness and seamless transition into operations.
- Managing AVEVA SaaS and on-prem environments, including configuration, access, and release sequencing.
- Overseeing successful deployments to sites, ensuring steps are executed, documented, and validated.
- Supporting user adoption and change readiness by collaborating with change managers, training leads, site SMEs, and functional leads.
- Identifying and managing release risks and issues, escalating as needed to avoid delivery impacts.
- Maintaining release documentation, including runbooks, release notes, and environment mapping.
- Ensuring compliance with client change and release management processes.
Your Profile
- Education: A bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Release Manager or Environment/Deployment Manager in large-scale digital or OT/IT programs.
- Hands-on experience with AVEVA products (Asset Information Management, Asset Strategy Optimisation, Advanced Analytics, APM, PI/AVEVA Data Hub, CONNECT, AVEVA cloud/SaaS environments) highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of release governance, change management, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
- Experience coordinating across multi-site or enterprise environments, ideally in manufacturing or asset-intensive industries.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, including BAU teams, project teams, and site operational users.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and scaled deployment programs.
