Business Analyst - Digital Maintenance

As a Business Analyst in our team you'll be joining us as we undertake an exciting new Digital Maintenance program of work in 2026. You will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance, reliability, and asset performance requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and translated into functional specifications that drive the successful implementation of the AVEVA platform. In addition, the role will support end-user training and adoption of the AVEVA platform, ensuring that maintenance, reliability, and asset performance processes are effectively embedded across sites.

Auckland based. Must have full work rights to be considered.

You will play a key role in:

•    Engaging with stakeholders across maintenance, operations, and reliability functions to elicit business requirements.
•    Preparing functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for the AVEVA platform.
•    Collaborating with Functional Consultants, Project Managers, Release Managers, and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
•    Supporting configuration, UAT, and validation of the solution to ensure it meets business expectations.
•    Identifying process improvement opportunities and recommending enhancements aligned with maintenance and asset performance best practices.
•    Supporting end-user training and adoption, including developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and assisting Change Managers with change readiness activities.
•    Facilitating workshops, requirement review sessions, and sign-offs with stakeholders.

Your profile:

•    Proven experience as a Business Analyst in maintenance, reliability, or asset-intensive environments.
•    Strong knowledge of maintenance, reliability, or APM processes and industry best practices.
•    Experience with AVEVA platform, Asset Information Management, Asset Strategy Optimisation, PI System, or similar platform is highly desirable.
•    Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping, functional documentation, and training material development.
•    Experience supporting end-user training, UAT, and change management is an advantage.
•    Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitation skills.
