Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer with a strong focus on Angular (version 15 and above) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks and 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Angular. This role involves building scalable, high-quality front-end solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Angular 15+, ensuring modular architecture with directives, controllers, services, route guards, and modules.
  • Utilize TypeScript and RxJS Operators to build reactive and efficient user interfaces, with a strong ability to debug and resolve issues proficiently.
  • Craft visually appealing and responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and modern CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Material UI.
  • Implement cross-browser-compatible code and ensure accessibility compliance with ADA/WCAG standards.
  • Build and integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs using modern UI integration techniques.
  • Leverage EcmaScript (ES6) features and tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Grunt, and Gulp to streamline development workflows.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests using frameworks like Jasmine, Jest, or Mocha, and optionally, end-to-end (e2e) tests with Protractor or equivalent tools.
  • Optimize front-end build pipelines and scripts for Continuous Integration (CI) environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and timely delivery.
  • Use version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN, Mercurial) to manage codebases effectively.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and bring innovative solutions to the team.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience with JavaScript frameworks.
  • 3+ years' hands-on experience with Angular (15+).
  • Expertise in TypeScript, RxJS, and debugging modern web applications.
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and creating responsive designs.
  • Good understanding of AJAX, JavaScript DOM manipulation techniques, and modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and writing extensive automated test cases.
  • Experience with tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Grunt, and Gulp.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines, CI/CD environments, and creating configuration scripts.
  • Knowledge of ADA/WCAG compliance standards and best practices.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. 1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. 2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. 3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. 4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. 5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
