About the Job You're Considering
Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to lead complex cloud ERP transformation programs and deliver successful SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including program planning, governance, financial management, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, systems integration, and deployment execution.
The ideal candidate combines strong SAP project management expertise with hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions, preferably SAP Public Cloud (GROW with SAP). This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and executive stakeholders while leading cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and Agile delivery teams within complex enterprise transformation environments. Based on internal Capgemini SAP Project Manager and Engagement Manager templates and SAP Public Cloud role frameworks.
Project Managers are responsible for overseeing the project/engagement/contract/activity on a daily basis and are responsible for delivering high-quality results within the identified objectives and constraints, ensuring the effective use of the allocated resources. They are responsible for risk and issue management, project/engagement communication and stakeholder management. Project managers perform the activities of planning, organising, securing, monitoring and managing the resources and work necessary to deliver specific project goals and objectives in an effective and efficient way. Operate at board level in multi site contractsorengagements. PMs are fully responsible for providing deliverables or service to specification, within agreed cost and timescale, meeting the necessary quality standards and to customer satisfaction. PMs conduct client negotiations to agree terms for changes to the scope of the projectorengagement or service, setting realistic expectations and ensuring commercial viability. PMs manage project or service teams, plan activities and monitor progress. PMs ensure all contractual deliverables or services are provided using best practices and are of an appropriate quality. PMs provide factual analysis of the projectorengagement or service portfolio and the teams performance and compliance to standard tools and processes.
Your Role
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation and transformation programs.
- Drive program planning, project governance, milestone management, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
- Manage project scope, schedule, quality, risks, issues, and dependencies across all workstreams.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans utilizing Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.
- Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide regular program status updates to leadership.
- Create, negotiate, and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), project budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate business, functional, technical, integration, data migration, and change management teams.
- Lead multiple Scrum teams to successfully execute contracted deliverables through strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
- Champion business transformation initiatives and articulate the value of change to executive and business audiences.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, SAP best practices, and SAP Public Cloud delivery methodologies.
- Drive issue resolution and proactively identify risks, planning gaps, and mitigation strategies.
- Partner with client leadership to establish governance models, escalation processes, and delivery accountability.
- Support proposal development, solution planning, project estimations, and pre-sales activities.
Your Skills and Experience
- 12+ years of project and program management experience with SAP solutions.
- Proven experience leading large-scale SAP implementation and transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, with SAP Public Cloud implementation experience preferred.
- Experience delivering SAP Public Cloud (GROW with SAP) programs from project initiation through go-live and hypercare.
- Deep understanding of SAP Activate methodology, Agile delivery models, and Scrum frameworks.
- Experience managing program budgets, financial reporting, resource planning, and P&L responsibilities.
- Expertise in project governance, risk management, quality management, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders and business leaders.
- Experience managing globally distributed delivery teams and multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience with system integration, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and operations transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification required.
- SAP Activate certification preferred.
- Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP integration technologies.
- Experience within Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Retail, Life Sciences, Utilities, Energy, or Industrial sectors preferred.
- Experience delivering cloud ERP transformation programs within a consulting environment.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $103, 879 - $292,900
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
