Capgemini is seeking a SAP Delivery Executive to lead strategic SAP transformation portfolios and serve as a trusted advisor to executive client stakeholders. This role is accountable for the successful delivery, governance, financial performance, and client satisfaction of complex SAP programs while strengthening executive relationships and supporting account growth across strategic clients. Given the strategic nature of these programs, this role requires a strong on-site presence with client leadership teams, acting as a visible executive sponsor and primary escalation point throughout the transformation lifecycle.
The Senior Director serves as the senior-most delivery leader and strategic client partner across assigned engagements, with accountability for delivery execution, contractual commitments, quality, financial performance, and client outcomes. This role requires a strong on-site presence to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, lead executive governance, drive critical decisions, and act as the primary escalation point throughout the transformation lifecycle. Working closely with client executives, account leadership, and sales teams, the Senior Director will also identify growth opportunities, shape future engagements, and represent Capgemini as a trusted transformation advisor.
The ideal candidate combines large-scale SAP delivery leadership, executive client relationship management, commercial acumen, and business development capabilities with a proven ability to lead complex transformation programs across global organizations.
A Delivery Executive is responsible for a single engagement or domain within an account and acts as Delivery Executive for business critical engagements. The Delivery Executives responsibilities include stakeholder's management or communication with the client, developing strong relationship with key client IT stakeholders, managing risks and client relationships and acting as first escalation instance for the EM, both internally and towards the client. They are responsible for overall delivery profitability and productivity, establishing a proper governance framework and ensures proper reporting. They will lead commercial management and take part to contract negotiation along with seeking to expand Capgeminis client footprint by identifying and anticipating and driving business opportunities. Delivery Executive Confirmed Delivery Executive with 5+ years of experience in the role, for a large international account covering a large part of the Capgemini portfolio and containing multi tower engagements.
Your Role
- Serve as the executive delivery leader accountable for the successful execution, governance, financial performance, and client outcomes across a portfolio of SAP transformation programs and strategic client engagements.
- Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CFOs, CTOs, Business Executives, Transformation Leaders, and other senior client stakeholders.
- Act as the primary executive point of contact for assigned engagements, providing delivery leadership, executive oversight, strategic guidance, and escalation management.
- Partner with client leadership to understand business priorities, transformation objectives, risks, and opportunities while aligning SAP programs to broader business outcomes.
- Lead governance forums, executive steering committees, operational reviews, and strategic planning sessions with both client and Capgemini leadership teams.
- Drive program success by proactively managing scope, resources, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, quality measures, and contractual commitments.
- Partner closely with Engagement Managers, Program Managers, Practice Leaders, and Account Executives to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Create and foster high-performing, collaborative teams across Capgemini business lines, geographies, and client organizations to ensure a "One Capgemini" approach.
- Monitor portfolio health and financial performance, including revenue, profitability, resource utilization, forecasting, margin management, and operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to Capgemini delivery methodologies, governance processes, tools, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve complex business, delivery, organizational, and stakeholder challenges that may impact program success.
- Serve as a strategic client partner by identifying growth opportunities, supporting account planning, and helping clients define future transformation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with account teams, Client Partners, and sales leadership to expand existing relationships, develop new opportunities, and support revenue growth objectives.
- Contribute to deal shaping, solution strategy, client positioning, executive presentations, and commercial discussions for new and expanding engagements.
- Support business development activities including RFI/RFP responses, solution reviews, client presentations, contract discussions, and executive pursuit meetings.
- Mentor delivery leaders, engagement managers, and SAP program teams while contributing to practice development and leadership initiatives.
- Participate in monthly business reviews, portfolio governance processes, and executive leadership discussions across Capgemini.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 20+ years of professional experience, including a minimum of 15 years leading SAP programs and transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience leading large-scale global SAP transformations, ERP modernization initiatives, and complex delivery portfolios.
- Demonstrated success managing executive client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders.
- Strong experience managing portfolio financials, P&L accountability, contracts, revenue performance, and margin optimization.
- Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent enterprise programs across diverse industries and business functions.
- Experience partnering with sales, account management, and go-to-market teams to support account growth and business development.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in deal shaping, solution strategy, contract negotiations, and executive client presentations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP Business Technology Platform, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled transformation opportunities.
- Experience identifying and positioning practical AI use cases that improve business processes, program delivery, decision-making, productivity, and client outcomes.
- Ability to advise executive stakeholders on responsible AI adoption and integrate AI considerations into SAP transformation roadmaps and solution strategies.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to support delivery governance, risk identification, program reporting, solution development, and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience managing global delivery teams across multiple geographies and organizational structures.
- Strong understanding of SAP delivery methodologies, implementation frameworks, governance models, and transformation best practices.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior client and Capgemini leadership.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $123,750- $340,750
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
